The Carpathian Troy: An Interactive Journey to the Past
The Carpathian Troy is an Android application that takes you on a journey through time to one of the oldest strongholds of the Bronze Age in Poland and one of the largest Slavic settlements of the Early Medieval period. The app is a perfect guide through the paths of the Open-Air Archaeological Museum at Trzcinica, which covers an area of 8 hectares. The museum displays 150 meters of reconstructed earthwork defenses, 18 reconstructed cottages, a smithy, and 2 gatehouses leading into the stronghold. The app offers a unique and interactive experience that allows you to explore the ancient settlements and see how people who had never heard of computers or atoms once lived in harmony with nature.
The Carpathian Troy app also offers a state-of-the-art display along with the traditional open-air show. The fully up-to-date exhibition pavilion features educational facilities for a broad range of ages of young visitors. Additionally, there is a multi-purpose conference hall for scientific meetings, film shows, or even concerts.
